Indie Folk band - France

The National Wood Band is an Indie Folk band. Their ballads smell of the American Wild West and the Australian Bush. Driven by acoustic guitars, dobro slides, double bass and banjo, The National Wood Band is a band to discover live.

The National Wood Band was formed in 2012 when four musicians from the Eure region got together to play rock and folk covers. But it was in 2013, with a growing desire to get into songwriting, that the band forged its folk identity. The band's main influences range from Ben Harper to John Buttler Trio, from American folk to the sound of the dobro and double bass, via Australia and the great mineral expanses of Scandinavia. November 2014 saw the release of the band's first ep, a self-titled album featuring the band's logo, a bear's head adorned with deer antlers.
